I dont know how it started or what sparked it, but I hate taking passengers in my car. It started when I got my Maxima I think, I never seemed to care about passengers when I had my Altima a couple years ago. I seem to get extremely annoyed when passengers touch the radio , hvac controls, windows, rest feet on dashboard, f**k with the seat position, etc. etc. I usually can deal with one passenger in the front. . . but when there are people in the back I really get annoyed, perhaps its because my soft crappy Tokico blues cant handle the load of 4 people in my car too well, I dont know . . . But I just wanted to see if there was anyone else here besides me who feels the same way about taking passengers. Anyone else hate when people fiddle with the radio, or touch everything and play with everything?

Yep, i hate having people in my car especially since im lowered so low. Even with a supercahrger when you have 4 people in the car it feels like im N/A.

Theres one person in particular that loves to play with the radio, cross his legs, and play with the passenger side vent (which is always closed when i look at it!!!) I hope that person is reading this right now

 

I don't mind having someone in the front seat, but when it's a woman my rules is that they can't touch the radio. And I always hate ahving people in the back.

 

So far it seems as if im not alone . . Im glad im not the only one to feel this way, my friends probably think im a ******** for the way I want them to drive their own cars, instead of packing up in mine, where as I think im being 100% reasonable.

 

The put 4 doors on the car for a reason. I've got no problem with people in my car. I drive people all the time, because the car seats 4 or 5 quite easily.

Its not like its a small 2-door sports car or something.

 

I like having people in my car. I think it's more that people don't like riding in my car. Most don't like the way I drive and my wife (pregnant at the moment) refuses to ride in the front because she can't get in and out with the racing seats.

 

I hate having people in my car. They always do things that even I don't do: eat, drink. They always make a mess in the car and move the seat so far up I see them when I look at the rear view mirror. It's more fun traveling alone in the max.

 

My only problem with having passengers is that always seems to be the time when some cocky ricer or stang boy needs a lesson in humility, and I won't race with passengers in the car.

 

ive got the remody just take all your seats out i took my back seats out to replace my fuel pump its been 2 months now and i havent had to take anybody except when its just one person

 

I just bought a radio that's confusing and so one knows how to work it. So I'm good. But I also hate having people in the back seat. Front seat doesn't make a difference to me

 

don't mind just me and my GF in the front. The car pulls pretty quickly and she's light but when the back gets filled up, it feels like she's crawlin..

 

In the winter I hate having passengers in the rear! (no Rubber mats) Summertime its cool. As far as the controls go thats cool too. I do it all the time when I am alone so its nice to have someone be my b!tch so to speak

i like having people ride along in my car as long as they aren't crazy and arn't playing with all the stuff, you can show off all the power and goodies our cars have

 

i don't like taking fat people in my car, because my car doesn't move when they are in it.

luckily most of my friends are skinny asian, and very respectful to me and my car. no problem takin them

 

so lets see... mess with the stereo, leave boot marks all over the friggin matt, mess with my door switches... take space... weigh the whole car down and always talk about something stupid while i am merging on a 6 lane freeway.

or when they sleep. my god i literally have kicked people out for sleeping. that's the one thing that i cannot stand. feet up on the seats and snoozing along, waking up every x hours to pull me over for restroom and food usage.

i usually avoid passengers lately...

I hate it when I have 5 people in the car and someone challenges me to a race, cause sometimes theres a guy in my car thats annoying as hell, I beat a car he always says damn ninos you got smoked or someother bull crap! but anyways i dont mind unless they try smoking!!! then they die, muhuhuhuhahahaha

 

Nah, I don't mind as long as they don't mess anything up.

but my only problem is when ppl get out and scuff the door panels with their shoes! argh...

 

same here man...i DO NOT ALLOW more than 4 in my car especially now my ride is lowered. I just hate the feeling of bottoming my ride. Some people just dont know the word "respect" when they mess around w/ your stuff. I too hate when they scuff my door panels.

 

i hate when people ride with me for a short ride and adjust my seats, a/c vents, and slam my car doors.. another thing that gets me annoyed is when people get in my car and track dirt and mud into my back seats and floormats that I try to keep very clean...

 

All my people know not to touch anything (radio, climate control, etc. ), unless I tell them to...I'm not a "no touch" **** but its just understood at this point, and same with me in their cars. I love driving alone the best, but I like when people are in there too....If they get out of line, I'll toss on a movie to shut em up....

 

I hate it when my passengers think they are funny when they write swear words on my fogged up windows.

 

i hate having people in the back seat... and usually in the front. the only people i don't mine up front are my girl and about 3 friends. but there is one of my friends that annoys the **** out of me in the car... he's very eager to get out...so the SOB locks the door before i have the chance to open my door... so when i try to open it... its locked and i'm like WTF? and then to top it off he always slams my door. and everytime i remind him not to... he just tells me, "it'll be aight".

 

I don't mind when it's just a passanger, you have control over that. But when it's more than three people, it's chaos. I hate it b/c you can try to control the people in the back but it's like they have their own party in the back. They fu<k up my leather and make black marks on my tan floor mats. Some people just don't have respect for other people's cars. That's why I just let a certain amount of people in my car. Me, myself and I. If they have any hot chicks they are invited as well.

I got the Max because I CAN take people with me. Sure people slow it down, but the speedo (stock) hit 140 with 3 others in the car, so it still moves. I'd rather have friends than a clean car anyway. Actually I've let tons of people drive my car too, including teach a bunch how to drive stick in it. I remember how much I appreciate it when someone let's me drive their nice car, so I want to do the same.

 

i guess i'm like most everyone else. I don't mind "a" passenger, but i really don't like people in the back seat....i just don't like to have to worry about what's going on back there. Don't get it twisted though, there are a select few friends that i don't mind having in the back seat, because they are car guys, so they know better than to mess with stuff that isn't theirs.

I do realize I drive a car that is meant to haul people around, but I personally find people (for the most part) annoying. Don't get me wrong, there are a select few who I have no problem having in my car, but the average person hardly respects the fact that I am using my car, my gas, my effort and my time to drive, therefore if my ride is not appreciated, why should it be offered? The fact that my car seats 5 easily and 4 comfortably doesn't mean it is mandatory for me to be the taxi, it is still MY car, people should respect my wishes as far as passengers go.

 

I don't mind a passenger, and like its been said, just because the car seats five/4 comfotably, it doesn't mean I am obligated to seat even one passenger in my car...I hate when a bunch of us are going out, say six people, and we all need to ride in one car...I'd rather go in my OWN car, and do only-the-lonley COMFORTABLY...This is probably when the car is fun to drive too....

 

Hey you guys is it just me or do max's respond really badly to weight. How does are car compare to other cars as far as if say my car and an rsx s for example were some how exactly the same speed with just drivers and then me put 3 pasangers in them both who would win?

 

my friends are all disrespectful a$$h0les so i hate having them in my car. they scuff up the doorpanels, mess with all the switches, and actually reprogram the radio for their convenience. oh yeah, weight kills acceleration...
and then they always end up leaving **** in the car and i get a call like 4 hours later "hey, i left --- in your car, can you drive 30 miles to my house and drop it off" NO come get it yourself... i do have like 50 CD's that have been left in my car by varios people over the ages...

 

I don't mind taking people but when they get to "rowdy" I want to throw them out the window. I hate when we have 2 cars going somewhere but everyone decides to go in my car, including the driver of the other car. (get the f.uck back in your car)

I also try to keep my car as clean as possible so, there is a dilemma. I can not stand people who act like my car is their 88 civic. <--No one i know drives that. (Thank GOD!) They get messy and no one but me eats in the car. I don't eat more than a cracker or two in the car.

 

I feel the same EXACT way about my friends. My car is their toy to them.

 

Regardless of 1 or 3 people in my car. The thing I hate the most and can't stand whether I'm the driver or the passenger is when people talk on their cell phones. That is the most annoying crap EVER. Listening to their conversation. I hate that.

 

Blast the music next time and if that doesn't work, OPEN THE WINDOW AND THROW THEIR CELLPHONE OUT!

i picked up one of my friend from a party and he puked and some of the stuff landed on the passenger seat's power seat button and it was a real bit<h cleaning that section off and it stunk!!

try having your neice in the back and putter her foot prints behind the passenger seat (black leather)
and afterwards, she gets car sick and pukes all over in the back and i had to take the whole seats out to clean it.

there's alot more stress but oh well....
