Hey guys. Thanks for all your interest in the ECUs,
here's the news.

Beta testing for the 96 Maxima will begin Monday 9/25.
Beta testing for the 97 Maxima will begin either on Monday or Tuesday.

Here's the plan from UPRD:
1. get car
2. arrainge dyno and install
3. dyno before and after
4. do some driving tests for pinging etc.
5. try to arrainge a GP.
6. sell some ECUs.
7. look into doing 97 later and boost mapped programs.

pricing wise, if we get enuf ppl, we can get them around mid $400, *i.e. 440,450,460*

if you'd like to get on the grp deal, please email me, so far i have the following. IF YOUR NAME IS HERE, BUT NO EMAIL, PLEASE PROVIDE ME AN EMAIL ADDY!:

Buy when do you think they'll start selling?

Do you think the 1999 Cali-spec will be different??

Cheston,
Any 1999 Cali-spec owners near you? See if UPRD can take a look at the 1999 Cali-spec chip to see if it's the same.

BTW, I suggest that everyone pay a couple of bucks more ($5?) so who's ever doing all the leg work gets a little discount.

everything will come into play tomorrow morning. when i drop the cars off for testing.

it will at least:
get rid of speed limiter, raise rev limiter, and remap some fuel programs to get some more power at certain revs..
