do the stock battery cables reach the top post on the optima yellow top battery with no problems, all replys will be appreciated.

Yeah, but I have my yellow top optima in the trunk! It freed up all kinds of space in the engine bay for a CAI. You can't *believe* all the times I've been asked, "Where the heck is your battery?!"

Br glad you have a 4th gen then.. the ground cable won't stretch in a 3rd gen.

but then again, who cares about the OEM ground? I added several 4awg grounds to it anyway.
