I have the 16 inch SSR Competitions with Toyo Proxes T1-S, MODS: injen intake, warpspeed y and b pipe, cm racing pipe, magnaflow muffler, UR underdrive pulley, and technosqaure upgraded ecu.
Im very pleased with the Chariot and I really feel like I might can squeeze just a little bit more out of here with what I have. It was around 60 degrees maybe more, and sooner or later I will catch a 30-40 degree night to see if its possible.
I was surprise to actually pull off a win against the Altima. I had a poor reaction time and didnt think I could make up the distance, but did ! LOL !
With a poor reaction time I was behind the altima .270 or almost 3 tenths of a second. Those 2.3 60 foots will kill you against a good driver, and I believe that altima won the bracket race that day. I was knocked out after one pass (dang bug). Still learning though.
The technosquare ecu has been a great mod and really put me in the low 14's. If I could have had what I wanted at the time, I would have taken the JWT ecu, but didnt have the extra money or time back then.
Its taken a long time to get the maxima to this point, but its really making racing on the drag strip much more fun.
Glad you guys enjoyed the races. Im ready to head back out again, and maybe I can race some better cars and pull off an upset win !

Yeah, that video was sweet man. Ever time I watch your clips, it makes me want a Stick even more and more! That Altima did have a Nice jump off the line, I was surprised! But You still took him in, good job for that. Great Kills!

cesar when you run how much weight reduction is that. Seat's, spare??? Awsome times man. Your car really inspires me to bulild mine even more. I was totaly discouraged today cause I was going to order the ingen intake to but somebody told me stock box pulls harder but I see it's not hurting your beast at all so tomorrow it's on.

as diluted as it may seem, i think i might can squeeze a low 14.2 or maybe even a high 14.19 out of the old girl.
it just seemed somehow, someway i did something wrong and felt lucky to hit any kind of 14.2. I had a tough time launching, shifted wrong a few times. Example: Ran a 14.267 with a 2.231 60 foot. I thought hey all i need is a 2.15 or something. Later I got a 2.127 60 foot and ended up with a 14.274 ?
I would have thought that would have put me in 14.1 territory but im thinking somewhere on that pass I wasnt shifting right. I love a manual, but there is a bit more envolved in making that perfect run. LOL !
hey dave, on the 1st to 2nd shift you think i should rev as high as i can get it with my setup. Havent really paid any attention to it, but thought you had said something about 1-2 shift at 7000 would be perfect ( i cant rev that high of course but can try lol !)
what are the shift points again for the 4th gen without jwt/mevi ? once i figure out what works im going to stick with it.

1-2 As high as possible before tagging the limiter. My tach showed ~6600rpms.
2-3 ~6300rpms indicated (real rpm is ~6100-6200)
3-4 ~5900-6000rpms indicated (real rpm is ~5800-5900)
You need to first find out how much your tach is off by. It seems 100-200rpms is the norm.
