Re-clearcoating a CF Hood?

For those that have or know anything about carbon fibre hoods I have a question for you.

Is it possible to re clearcoat one of them and make it look like brand new again? I'm looking at buying a used 5th gen VIS oem style hood but I was told the clear coat on it is cracked. Is this repairable? Thanks for the help guys.

Nathan

It all depends on what is cracked, the "clear coat" or the "gel coat" If the resin it's self is cracked then no you can't repair it.

Just buy a new one.
