it probally means change your perception of things, or be flexible enough to accept change when ever it comes

Over the years, Nissan has had some of the funniest and memorable commercials I've seen.....

1)the 300Z TT when people are trying to catch the guy, but he shifts to fifth and is long gone....
2)The barbie doll with the croc hunter....funnny...
3)The top gun parody commercial with "DB" aka dirty bird...may-day....hysterical!!!....
4)More recently, chasing the sunset....Not funny, but speaks to you...
5)Not even Death can catch one....
6)The short lived "Driven" campaign..."Nissan...driven....woo-hoo!"
7) And, Shift_ which will be around for a while, because the play on words, as we've all seen, can fill books!!!...But really says something about the companies philosophy....

And this is just what Nissan's philosophy is nowadays, Since the Shift_from Bankruptcy, to shift_the playing field Nissan is trying to get us to shift_our perspective of them....And the've got the numbers that tell it like this....

Nissan's gotten really profound with thier ads lately...they need to spice it up a bit over there!!!....

When i had my 300zx (RIP) i bought a CD repair manuel on ebay that has three commericals and the whole complete tear down of the 300zx. It was really helpful. I'm at school right now and don't have the CD at hand, but when i get home later on tonight. I'll try to download them on to my computer.

As for the the shift_question...they probably just used this to make a spicy entrance for a boring slogan that they need to change.

I always thought the "Cars Like It: 0" commercial meant that the other cars out there don't like the Maxima..
