Looking for someone to take over MaximaDriver.com
Hey Guys-
fellow faithful Maxima Drivers. It's been a blast, from the very beginning.. to you new Maxima owners, i started MaximaDriver.com in late 2000 in the hopes of helping fellow car enthusiasts modify their maximas and provide the information to guide their way- i would like to think that i accomplished that task.
The projects, always numerous: some never finished.heh... The articles, always fun to write. The wings: I loved every one. The picts of me smiling: always easy to poke fun at...I had a great time doing it all for you, and i just hope everyone learned something that they didnt know before.. but times have changed and priorities have moved...
I tried a site revamp in early '03 with the moving of the main files over to a new server, but access to the server and design issues has really put a toll on the MaximaDriver.com updates and i just cant justify spending all that time on the site (i have a full time job now, before i was just a free-time-loving college student).. Also having a 4th gen in this day and age, is a fleeting effort as everyone is now interested in 5th and 6th gens.... its time to move on..
i will miss all of you 'old farts' that supported me since the beginning, (Keving, Jane, Jambo, Nabil, Hiroshi, CapQ45, Calder, Confused, Clee130, Irvine79, you know who you are) and i will take the inspiration that you gave me in building the best 350z....
I still have my Maxima (but its bone stock now, and my daily driver to work...) Hopefully i'll pop in once in a while in the OT section and provide ECU info or other technical help. but lastly i just wanted to say:
THANK YOU for everything!!!!
If anyone is interested in taking over MaximaDriver.com and keeping the articles and how2 files going, please email me at: ChestonCchiu@hotmail.com to discuss administrator rights and what not.
Sincerely,

Cheston Chiu

Good luck in the future! MaximaDriver.com was THE 1ST site i visited for Maxima mods and how-tos. Definitely, Maximadriver.com sparked my love for my car. I remember the how-to for blueberry pancakes, mm mmm
I hope that the site can stay alive.

Thanks for everything Cheston. I hope you will visit us in Norcal from time to time. Good luck with the Z, I want a ride someday!
I hope you choose an experienced member to run the site. I can offer hosting if needed. I would offer to run it, but like everyone else, finding the time to add new content would be difficult. It appears that you are using a nuke variant now too. Keeping nuke up to date can be a job in inself
Let me know if I can help with the technical stuff.
