Hey all, I have a question. I keep forgetting this. My buddy is doing an spring install in his 3rd gen. They are Intrax progressive springs. I can't remember which side the tighter winds go. The top or bottom? The spring installs I've done only involved non-progressive springs, and I've seen them installed on iansw car, but can't remember the orientation.

Hmm my eibachs are progressive. But I forget which way they went. Since the upper mount doesn't have nearly the offset for the spring seat like the bottom mount does, I'll just say for now, the progressive side is up. Don't know if it helps but the "eibach" went right side up.

 

I am almost positive I put mine on with the tigher coils on the bottom for the back, I am not sure about the fronts. I have intrax and I remember reading INTRAX upside down on the springs when I put them on the back and reading it right side up on the front.

 

Lets see, my Intrax had the tighter coils at the bottom.... you know what? Dispite the lettering being readable the rears do look upside down. I thought they fit funny.
