Hello all.

New here, so please forgive me if this has been asked before. (I did do a search, but there are tons of posts on blinkers!)

I found on eBay an auction for a new relay for my Maxima that will make the blinkers blink 4X's faster. Sounds kinda cool. I was going to get it, but I was wondering, will this screw up my lighting system in any way? I figure that if the blinking pattern sucks, I can just put the old relay back in...right?

Thanks for any help!

saw those too

yeha saw those on ebay just a second ago. There is a way to do this without buying anything off ebay, but this way seems a lot easier. I dunno know if i like the look of faster blinks, but id like to know if this is ok for our cars. Im guessing it is.

Just keep in mind that those are technically illegal. I read that in most states your blinkers are only supposed to blink once per second.

True. But does cop really care about that anyways. Remember, clear bumper light with hyper white w/blue tint is technically illegal too. But I haven't seen anyone who have problem with their clear bumper or hyper bulb,

I never been pulled over for having clear bumper lenses/hyper white blinkers, but I did get pulled over for having the hyper white blinkers in the back. Police said it was blinding everyone so I put a red one in.

well...one of my friend

you see..one of my friend he rewired the corners and the blinker so the blinker will always be on....the thing with is that..it messed up the blink pattern and basiclly all he did was just switching the sidemarker socket with the blinker socket....the signal kinda messed up by itself...and now it blinks really fast hehe..

Thanks for all the info. I think I'm going to stick to regular blinkers. The more I think about it, the worse I think it will look.

bling bling!

I know there is a better relay where you can adjust how fast you want to blinkers to blink. ITs like 60 or 70 bucks here in s. cal. I know its safe to do this conversion.I'll get these if i find some money laying around
