HIDS guys, my left headlight didnt go on then after driving flickered on...

I have zmax 8000k and i was leaving school and my left headlight didnt go on. I poped hood and checked connection everything seemed to be ok. Then 5-10 min later while driving it flickered on ? What gives ? Also the ballasts are just next to battery and washer fluid stem is this bad, do the need to be more secure ? thank in advance

The ballast got wet, then it dried out from the heat of the engine and HID turned on.

it happened to me....i have 03 max hid's on mine and i drove over a HUGE puddle of water...almost lost control (that's how big it was) and my passenger light turned off.....10 minutes later I turned my lights off & on and they work fine...
I think the ballasts get wet or something...

hmmmmmm maybe there was a loose connection in the harnesses. go in with small flat head and decrease the gaps in all the female connectors.
after a while the connections will loosen up and you have to press the female connection closer together so they will make contact with the male connectors better. i had this problem with the harnesses from the factory socket to the ballast and had my pass. head light turn off while i was driving.

Yeah, another member had the same problem and come to find out it was a loose ground wire.
