Side skirts and Lifts

Has anyone with body kits had problems with their side skirts and lifts?...the cross lifts not the ones you drive onto...im worried that the lifts beam will hit my side skirt before the lift gets a hold of the underside of my car

uhhh ok that didnt make much sense anyway...help me out+P

The lifts at the dealership I work at have "extensions" at the ends that fold up, so when they are under the car they look like this _____|. The tip is what lifts the car so it would clear the skirts. Just make sure they are clear or the lifts have the extensions and you will be straight.

Oh yah thats the word I was looking for...those extensions look a little short...too short to clear the kit...is there anything which makes it larger?

Just be very careful and make sure that the extention for the lift will clear the kit. You may need to put some type of spacer between the car frame and the lifter, like a block of wood or something. I find that it is harder and harder to get the car on the lift each time I take it to a mechanic.
