Re: Hi Blair:)
I am glad that you are happy with the new bbs. Jamie has spent many hours at night working on this so it is very gratifying to hear that people are enjoying it. I must admit... I am glad to have his nights back for us to spend time together. Actually... he is the one that makes the cookies. They are his specialty. So maybe he should make me some cookies, :-).

Thanks Chris! That is a good site. It looks like it will be about $20,000 for a fully loaded 98 SE.

KBB and NADA don't really apply on Maxima's, the rebate screws up the equation.
When I was selling mine, both books said my car should be worth $22k, unfortunately $18k is the highest I could get, I still consider myself lucky to get that much.
It's your money, but if you don't wish to waste it, offer ~$16k, $20k is just too much for a '98 SE.

I just bought a 1998 SE
Here in Houston TX.
1998 Maxima SE 5 speed
28,000 miles with a 75K xtended warranty
cloth seats
NO ABS, NO Bose, NO Sunroof..
Car is in MINT condition
I paid $14750, which is below trade-in, so I got a great deal. 5 speeds are harder to sell and the guy sellig it was not in Houston, but two hours away in Beaumont, which is a city of ~100,000 or so...
Good Luck!

Well, I paid 10,900 for mine this January. But its a '96 GXE with absolutely no options. I'm sure glad power windows and locks are standard! EricGP paid 16,400 for his Max. Its a '97 SE with every option, including ABS, heated leather seats, and digital climate control. It only had 21k miles on it. Josh paid 15,400 for his 97 SE. It was loaded except the ABS and heated seats. All of ours were 5-spds, though. Autos tend to bring more money, especially in Midwestern states.
