2004 maxima rental car which was damaged. POSTED HERE before!

One guy asked if it was good to buy a rental car and one guy posted a link to a video of him burning out and messing up the 6th gen having the e brake while driving. Does anyone have this video? If so please post it.

Yeah, I'd like to see this! Reminds me of watch a video of a guy who took his friend's brand new m3, was doing donuts in his street, lost control and wrapped the car around a tree!

The solution for "was my car a rental?" worries: 6-speed.

All rental cars are automatic. Unless its a high-end specialized company. Otherwise it's impossible that you'd find one that was. Lata!

After seeing that video, I would NEVER buy a rental car, but if I did, I heard Enterprise gives you a 14 day return policy where you only pay for the time you've had the car and I think it might be the cost of a rental per day?

I believe aside from having a full tank of gas, Rental car companies don't usually check their cars after each rental returned. Those guys were lucky to get away if there were no additional charges on their credit card considering the average rental car driver doesn't bring back a car with 2 bald tires and no e-brake.

Kind of reminds me of my civic and my wild days, lol. I changed the tires regulary, and my high school parking lot was always full of lines, lol.

But damn I drive 350z s and nothing like that doesn't even come to my mind, it would cause so much damage to the car. Maybe a few launches or something but that's about it.

I feel sorry for that car.

Enterprise actually has a 7 day return policy, no questions asked. I used be a manager for Enterprise and we trained our employees to inspect the cars inside and out. My branch had to "eat" whatever damage the car came back with if we did not check in the car properly, so we pinned it on the renter's insurance company. So, we were very careful. I treated the cars in our fleet with almost the same respect as my Maxima. I knew exactly what type of damage was on each vehicle to each and every ding. At least this was my experience. Some other regions of the country or other companies may be a little more lenient or simply just not care! Lata~ Jeremiah

Looks like that poor Max's lifespan is severly shortened thanks to some punk-a$$ little $hits like those

I'll bet you they were grand-prix owners who think thier car is better than a maxima

actually they didn't do much worse than a day at the track, which seems to be welcomed around here. and the ebrake cable snapping shows it's a POS. i have done dumb stuff in other cars with e brake with no problems, but my 5th gen won't even hold the wheels on grass, if you know what i mean.

wow, did the same exact thing but to a mustang. A couple of buddies and I rented a 2k1 mustang from enterprise. We got the car without any noises in the engine. We ending up pulling donuts and ripping nasty figure eights in front lawns. Ragging the **** out of it. We returned it a couple of days later with pings and knocks in the engine and two rear bald tires. It was fun...

When i see it done to a maxima it makes me feel alittle sick, poor car. O well, I'm gald that i did that to a mustang and not a maxima.

I know rental cars are meant to be ragged on but it looks like the ppl in the video redefined the phrase ragged on. I would've done that to any of my dad's cars ('89 BMW 535-I and '89 Cadillac Allante), or any other BMW or Caddy

I would've liked to see them rag on a Cadillac next time though

Oh really? And where does anything, anywhere say that?

At the least that kind of behavior is immature, and disrespectful....and I know they usually don't catch ppl who do this kinda thing, but if they were to, you would be charged.

And what pi$$es me off the most, is that it ruins renting opportunities on nice cars for those of us under 25 who actually may be responsible. Fine, it's not your car. Doesn't mean or give you the right to trash it out.

Ok, I'm done now. It's just aggravating that there are so many stupid ppl who do stupid things.

Maxceler8 hit on the money I still can't rent a car for trips cause i get hit with "Your under 25 or I need to give a $900 deposit.
They are *&cking jerks and I hope they get caught jerking each other off in the back of a rented Civic where they belong.
To the others who think that’s cool, beating on sh&t that’s not yours, Your brain possibly hasn’t matured enough, don’t worry you’ll get =)

I got my 04 Max from Entrprise Rental car and it runs just fine and I haven't had any problems out it......it only had 15,000 miles on it, it was an executive rental car, so it was kept up and I got the car at a damn good price.....so I made out very well
