i was at the car wash the other day and my damn sunrook started leaking. it was closed all the way and the seals looked fine to me. i saw the water leaking through the back part of the glass panel. any ideas?

Just kidding, sunroofs are weird like that. You can't really tell just by looking at it. Your best bet is to take is somewhere, they usually give a lifetime warrenty with service (at least on my last car they did). Get a few different estimates. When I was looking the prices varied very much and they all did the same thing.

 

This happens to me when I wash my car also, A small amount of water flows down through the seals. However it seems to filter out of the car somehow. I have attempted to pry the seal back where it was coming through and try to make the seal tighter. You might want to try that.
