That's what I'm thinking, but they have all sorts of stuff for the Altima available now. CAI, Short Shifter, brakes, etc.

You would pay $800 for some pipe that is the same as any other pipe though.

Look forward to them having stuff only for the new line up. If they had stuff available for us, we would be able to get it from over seas now.

Yeah, but im curious to see what a Nismo muffler would sound like. Also, the tip would say NISMO...

Nismo is great and all, but if they come out with all this performance stuff...big if..it would be waaaaayyyy overpriced and probably wouldn't be much better than what performance stuff is already out there..think about it..pay $50 for an oil cap...$500 for an intake

Look at all that nice 350Z stuff... mmm...

Honestly if you look at the prices, they are very similar to stillen's prices. I'd trust Nismo over stillen any day.

I was at the local Nissan dealer the other day picking up a part and I see there's a big display case of Nismo stuff...I ask the guy at the counter if they sell alot of it and he's like "we sell some, but most people know there is better performance accessories out there by other companies, and it's alot cheaper."

I really have no opinion of Nismo, never having used anything by them - but what the Nissan guy said pretty much speaks for itself...

It wouldn't be any better, but it would be under warranty

well for us drivers of older cars is pointless if they products they bring are the same that other brands already have out and for cheap.
But for newer cars that still have a warranty it actually a good thing. Nismo products won't void your warranty in case of malfunction due to a bad product. So now you can actually take your 5th gen to get the MAF check while you have your Nismo CAI installed

Nismo products for the chariot = totally cool !

If I was starting out modding the car all over again, I would go Nismo.... it's just cool.
We have the oil cap and the radiator cap, and it looks so hot, plus it's good quality stuff.

You always pay more for quality....and a brand... but if you think about a pair of shoes or jeans from J C Penny's vs. a pair of shoes or Jeans from JCREW, you're gonna still be wearing the JCREW jeans in 5 years vs. J C Penny's that screw up in the wash the first time. Might not be totally true for car parts, but the theory is still there.

While I wouldn't pay $500 for an intake, I would pay 30 bucks more for a Nismo one over an Injen, and Injen is great, but Nismo is better

Most of the time, people are too budget to buy anything decent....

I agree, it will be expensive,... say like a Stillen stb over the ebay one.
They both do the same function but it comes down to the buyer having the "name" brand.

i think nismo only really matters if you drive a skyline, 350z, or s13/14/15. They offer very nice products specifically made for those cars and slightly higher prices compared to other competitors in the same market.

I think most of the products are gonna be for 350Z's and Sentra's.
One of the Nissan Dealerships down the roads has a 350Z w/ Nismo rims and it looks awsome. It belongs to one of teh GMs sons btw....

Nismo products are made for quality so it comes with the higher price tag. But most likely Nismo will only make parts for the other model than Maxima. If they do make the parts it will be for newer cars than out of production cars like the 4th gen Maxima. I know I know we are left out... I feel the pain also.

People pay big money for JDM stuff.

I know clubrsx guys go crazy about turning their cars into all JDM. It's like a hobby I guess, an expensive one at that.
