grounding MAF

grounding MAF

i recall seeing a "grounding the maf" thread what was that about and is it better to have a good ground to the maf? benefits drawbacks?

The oem (A32) maf is grounded through the harness connector. There is no need for any other grounding unless you've got a harness problem.

The Z32 maf has two ground wire connections. If you go with the Z32 maf then you use the harness ground wire for one ground connection, and run the other to a convenient grounding location of your choosing.

(By the way, since this is bound to come up, there is no advantage to going with a Z32 maf unless you're boosted.)
