I know I've mentioned this a couple of times, but people keep asking. If the lower pipe comes through the splash guard it MUST be pointed forward, or somewhat forward. If it comes straight down, the air flow will pass over it at a 90 degree angle. This will actually try to create a vacuum pulling air out of the tube at high speeds. Try blowing directly across the straw in your drink to demonstrate. Just trying to let everyone know...
