well, my birthday is coming up next week and my friend asked me for something I really don't need but always had my eye on... and for the price range, a $50 key was teh answer lol.

Turbo95Max sells these keys and they're just beautiful... gonna get it from him. Now, i've had keys cut at Orchard Supplies and one of those key venders at the mall... the mall gave me a crap key that requires me jiggling it around in the trunk in order to get it to open and Osh did an alright job.

Now, this is not a $2 key... I wanna get it done right! Will the dealership cut keys? I know if I take my VIN and information, they should do it for me... hm I wonder how much though.

Also, do you know if the NISMO key is made of a different material that would make it harder to cut?? I think it was made of aluminum... I dont know, let me know! thanks.

I doubt it's made out of aluminum...you could bend an aluminum key with your finger (think of how easy it is to bend a stainless steel dinner spoon).

i got a key made at home depot the other day and was pretty impressed. they put it in this machine instead of doing it by hand the old way. the machine seems dead on because we had no problems with the key in the door or ignition. it seemed like there is very little room for error. go in there and check it out, plus i bet it's way cheaper than the dealer.
