Paint Colour Number??? Under the hood?
im getttin a spoiler off the net
the guys paintin it for me i just gotta tell him my paint colour number
i drve a 95 gle
the colour is like a dark blue colour ...
where is this number
and how mnay digits is it supposed to b

If his 95 is like mine, the color for 96 will be slightly different than the 95. Also, I think they have different numbers for different assembly plants, if there is more than one. But it is on the silver plate on the passengers side of the engine compt.
Actually, the 95 blue and the 96 blue are two separate paint colors. I don't have the chart here with me, but I found that really odd that they'd change colors between years to something that is so incredibly close.

Honestly, I would really take the car to a place and get the spoiler matched using some sort of color mathing. I know that the touch up paint doesn't really match the color of my car. It looks pretty different actually. If that is the primary way that they are matching the color, you may not be satisfied.
