I took my VI off tonight to do some stuff to it and while it was off took a look inside at my valves. In each cylinder that the valves were closed, there was fuel puddled around the bottom of the valves. 5 and 6 however, only one valve had fuel puddled around it. If you're looking at the front of the car, it would be the left valve in each cylinder that was dry. The right valves in each cylinder had fuel around them.
I'm not to concerned about the excess fuel because the car was parked outside in the cold all day, started for about a minute to pull it into the shop, then disassembled. The ECU dumps a lot of fuel in on cold start-up, right?
Anyway, back to my original question. Should I be concerned about those two dry valves, maybe not sealing closed all the way or is it nothing to worry about? There was some carbon build-up but it didn't seem excessive.

yup, what he said.. I'd be more concerned with leaking injectors/o-rings than I would about one valve not being puddled with fuel.
most likely that was because the car was on a slight incline and the fuel ran downhill, into those valve pockets.

I haven't noticed any abnormal gas consumption as of late.
I put everything back together tonight after work and she fired right up. High idle til warm and then settled at around 800 rpm's. No signs that anything is wrong. What would be warning signs of injectors or the o-rings going bad?
