Ok...thats a heck of a deal for those. However, I heard that you have to modify them to get them to fit. I will buy them if someone can provide me with a website or DETAILED instructions on what I have to do. I am not into hacking my car up so I am going to need help with this one.

Also...how hard is the install. A local shop said $150 but I don't think he knew you had to hack the suspension up a bit.

Let me know.

Thanks,
SHUMAX

I think that link above is the best site for instructions so far that I've seen.

Before you get them, make sure you have a place that will install them. . . I know that every place I asked didn't want anything to do with them. . . Most don't understand that they are inserts for a car that doesn't come stock with inserts and parts have to be seriously modified. . . Like if they say it is easy, you might want to have them go out and look at the car, and explain furthur. . . Or better yet, bring in the instructions for the install. . . I think most of the people on the board install these themselves or with the help of other members.

$150 would've been a steal. I paid $210 for my ship (3.5 hrs) but knew they could handle. As soon as I mentioned "insert" they gave examples of other rides they had to make the same mods to.

ok

so how much of a differance did you notice in the ride? Was it worth the $600 you spent? Curious b/c I am not sure these are really worth it or not?!?!?!? $400 for the item and then $210 to install? I need convinced a bit!

Can't answer the $600 question yet. My old struts seemed fine after 20K of Eibach miles. I have yet to race with my Koni's yet and that was part of the decision to buy.

Biggest difference I've had is the harsh ride - much more than springs, 45 series tires, strut braces,. etc. I've lost all comfort from the original ride.

I have to admit here in Chicago many local roads have lots of expansion joints, tar marks, and holes everywhere from the salt & winter. The biggest scare was hitting a couple of small dips at ~40mph the other day and hitting my bump stops. The combination of the rear sway bar and koni's is pretty rough IMO.
