5th Gen Caliper relocation bracket complete! (pics)

As you can see, there's not a lot of room, but they DO fit behind factory 17" wheels!

For you naysayers, this kit is NOT designed as an all-out track setup. This is designed for the average joe with larger rims that wants to have some better looks and get rid of the annoying rotor warpage problems common in the 5th gens. This will provide additional performance and stability over the factory system, without costing an arm and a leg. If you want a $2000 brake system, then you're going to have to pay for it. you can never get a free lunch!

It relocates the caliper out to use larger rotors. Right now he is putting on the 12.6" rotors used on the 04 Max's. Better than the puny 11.9 or 11.8 (cant remember) of the stock.

Dixit, this uses the larger 2k4 Max rotors, and relocates the 5th gen caliper to fit. some pretty tight clearance issues there. wasn't fun getting the bracket to fit!

Any difference in back spacing between the 2K-2K1 SE rims and those 2K2+?
I know the center caps/lugs are somewhat different, but wondering if 2K-2K1s could be slightly different with such close tolerances.
BTW, any idea what the weight difference is between the OEM 2K-2K1 rotor and the 2K4 rotor?
Is that going to noticeably increase stopping distance or is it negligible?

I'll help on some of the questions. The 2000/2001 front rotors are 11.0", so this is a BIG difference - these new rotors are 12.6". The stock 17's from 2000-2003 are all the same dimensions -back spacing, width, lug pattern. Yes the center caps, lugs, and finish varies, but its only cosmetic.
And yes, Matt and I are working on a REAR kit now. Definately a much tougher job. We have "Phase 1" detailed out but not ready to start production yet, working on "Phase 2"-which is the tough one.

There's one company out there right now that has them, and I'm working on getting some samples to take pics and such for you guys.
FYI, Powerslot uses Brembo rotors.. they buy brambo blanks, cut slots in them, and slap their sticker on it.
