Finnaly posted the pics. I gave the Max a 97-99 a Face lift with some eye browse and black housing headlights. I did it last month, but haven't been able to post. I also updated my site with more pics of the max on page 2 of Uncle Max page.

kinda makes me keep smacking myself in head saying.. cut springs, don't cut springs... i hope the Sprint Springs sit just a nicely as how your car sits...

Eye brows look great how did you do it. I tried to do it but the damn nipples on the headlights get in my way. Any Suggestions???

 

I get my coilovers next month, cuz I'm paying for the ECU tommorow.
You can't really tell by the pics but the eye browse aren't full headlight covers. The eyelid is as big as it looks. Kinda cool lokking when you take them off. I might make more I've have like 5 or 6 folks that have ask for them already.

 

I like the way those headlights look, did you use a heatgun to take them apart and then paint the silver part black? I was thinking about doing this a while back but was unsure how they would turn out. They look good. We were doing that to Civic projectors to match the body of the car.

The eyebrows are made of hard clear plasic and painted the color of the car from the inside and the outside, in case I get any chips the color will still show.
My dad has a shop so I just used mostly shop tools. To shave the NIP on the Head Light I used an air tool used to cut springs and I did it very carefully not to scratch the head light.
In fact anyone wanting to do this will have to cut cut that NIP off.

What I really wanna get now is the front lip and coilovers. It's gonna look wiked when I tuck those 10's in the rear fenders. But thats just for shows cuz I wouldn't be crazy enough to drive it that way.

Yep It's you! 5Zigen TIP, chrome door handles, 18" rp-01s, clear side marker, black sticker under it, still had the "MAXIMA" on back. I'll try and scan it next week.

 

Could you scan it I don't have many pics from back in the days. 5Zigen, *sigh* man I miss that exhaust.

I'm feeling the headlights a lot, and I love the look of the 95-96 grille with 97-00 bumper... Beautiful job..

 

Thats a 97-99 grill piece with the bar painted flat black. Looks sweeeeeeet! I wold "AEerize" the turn signal lights next to the headlights too..

 

Hey MaximaMike that's actually a 97-99 grill as well.
The 95-96 grill won't fit the 97-99 bumper without cutting down one of the two. It just might look like 95-96 grill cuz I had the middle bar from the 97-99 grill painted black.

Ok sorry Guys not answering sooner but I check the site during working hours. I know I know, bad Alex.

Cefiro- they're 10's in the rear and dont rub, But to be on the safe side I rolled the back fenders.

Nismo- I might make more. I know cheston has instruction on how to make the eyelids by masking off the clear head light lens covers and piant the line. My eyelids don't cover the whole lens I'll have to take pics. Anywho I'll make another set but they'll probably be like the one I have withe lid going down to the grill.

Madman- Cheston said he also had instructions on how to make the black housing. I think he said they're called AE heahlights. All I did was take the plastic lens off very carefully with a hair dryer to losen the glue. then mask the middle chrome and paint the rest black. Then put the lens back.

Josh- Thanks man. yea, still on stocks but next month I'm getting Cattman Coilovers. I send off for my ECU Monday. Woohoo can't wait.

Thanks Man, like I tell the guys that have emailed me, If you try to go wide, you do it at your own risk. Maybe I got lucky with these type of rims, so I don't know if the same offset works w/ other rims. I'm glad you like'em I've put alot of miles on my ride since I got'em.
