auto headlight sensor adjustment

Does anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity of the auto headlights?
I have a 2k2 and know the sensor is on the dash(driver side) I have considered pulling the cover and putting black tape over the sensor but thought there may be an easier way.

it can be done with the Consult II, which a nissan dealer has. And while at it, you can adjust a lot of things too, like light delay, window power after shut off etc.

Problem is, finding a dealership willing to do this, and not charge you a leg. It's one of the more 'hidden' functions in the consult's interface

All of us org members that could sue this tool should chip in to buy this and than we would just ship it cross country for whoever needs it...Like that would ever work...
