My steering wheel is loose....
This is not about my Max, but about my 1994 Toyota Camry, its been awhile since i drove that car and this week i've noticed the steering wheel is really loose. What could have cause that problem? Im just worried that I might lose control of the car the next time I drive if I dont get this problem fixed. Help!

I'm not quite sure what you mean by loose, do you mean that the wheel itself is coming loose from the columb, or that the steering itself doesn't feel very tight. If it's a loose wheel itself, there's a nut that holds the steering wheel in place. Unfortunately, it's behind the airbag, so you'll have to remove that in order to check the tightness. I'm assuming being a 94, that your Camry has an airbad. Anyhow, if you can check the tightness of this, that'll let you know if it's the wheel itself.
I don't know if tires has much to do with it. Tires can certainly change the steering of a car, but making a difference between tight and loose doesn't seem right to me. Also, that wouldn't account for why you feel since you drove it last, the steering has loosened. I would wonder if there's something wrong in the linkage itself, or maybe there's a power steering problem? Ususally when there's a power steering problem though, it's harder to steer, and there's noise coming from the steering.
Anyhow, I don't know if any of what I said will be any help, but maybe someone that knows some more about it will come along. Good luck.

i had the "loose" feeling with my steering wheel
and nothing seemed to help get rid of it till i got rid of crappy kumho hp716 tires and got some sticky falken ziex 512
btw the kumhos had less than 20k on them and plenty of thread left

check to see if the recall was performed or was due for your camry.... I belive that the 94 camry was recalled due to poss steering wheel nut not being torqued properly from the factory....call your dealer if the car is due for the campaign... free repair for you....
