If the lady was working at the time, the laws of Vicarious Liability says that since she was doing a job as an agent of her company, her company is completely responsible. With how much stuff you had on your car, go get a friggen lawyer. Any insurance company will try to give you some sort of resale value of the car, not the actual cost of all the stuff on your car.

BTW glad you're OK. I hate stupid drivers too.

that's not the news I wanted to read on the org today. Sorry to hear it man. Glad you are ok. her company's insurance is the one to attack first and I would also suggest going after them for loss of sponsorship and any other thing you can get. Good luck.

Jesus man, that's terrible. Just when you think things are lookin up....**** happens. I hope you don't give up on this car- you've put too much time and money into it to give up now. This could be a good excuse for some new mods. And yeah, you should probably get a lawyer to help you with this, it could get complicated with all your mods.
Best of luck to you man.

Go see a doctor for sure, to get your future medical bills paid. As far as going after - go after both of them. Notify your insurance and go at it

This thread still makes me sad. Get another max and keep the engine if its all intact. I know how it feels to be in pain like that, when I totalled my last car, i had back pains for a good month. Go after those people for as much as you can, especially if THEY were at fault.

I'm just thankful that you were able to walk out of this one alive despite the severity of the accident. Having totaled a car, I know exactly what you're going through.. time heals all pain. Get yourself checked out too.. neck/back pain may take a few days to fully show itself. Anything I can help with Corey, don't hesitate to ask, you know where to reach me. All the best, Ange

Holy crap dude! Glad you are alright. Your car is replaceable, but your not. You should definately go after them and get all the money back from the work you've had done on the car. I think its more than reasonable considering how stupid that lady was.

I second that. In my law class, basic law 101. Sue people where they reside in, sue ANY company AND sue for everything at once because you can't go back and sue again.

If you're ok though, then that's all it matters. I personally believe that whatever goes around, comes around so I personally won't jump to the gun to "sue".

Just 2 cents.

Unless the insurance company is being a harda$$ to you, then go for it.

Sorry bro.. I know things were looking up for you.

My 2 cents, get a lawyer. GET FULL VALUE for ALL PARTS 1st and then get the car value.

At least you are ok. Like ange said, go get yourself checked out.

This car BS car be redone BETTER next time. You can only be done once.

Thank you All guys. The Security companies insurance adjuster will be meeting me at my car at 9:30 in the morning. So I will keep you guys up to date. Yep this is a real downer but right now my thoughts are she will be rebuilt better than ever! I have a good sense of humor and try to look at the brighter side of things.

When they were picking my car up and putting it on the tow truck I told them to watch out for my front end its fiberglass your going to ruin it goddammit!

Geez, I hate that. Espeically people are indecisive driver and lack of good judgement. Sorry to hear your car is gone. What is it with Red cars getting hit. I used to have a Rio Red 97 Legacy GT, when my sister was using the car and it got hit. Is it people can't see the OBLIVOUS RED COLOR or are they color blind?

I would call a lawyer that would only take payment if they get you money. Go after the company. Tell the lawyer about your concussion.

He asked me to get him some taco bell which was 2 blocks away. I say no problem. SO i Start my 2 block trip. Oh if i didn't have to go to taco bell then I would not have had to go across the light.

Its slightly raining outside so I'm not speeding Right as i'm bout to go through the traffic light, the light turns yellow. A woman from the oncoming traffic decides she's going to make a left turn right in front of me grandma style, oh wait she wasnt even slow, she stopped!!@@@@!!!!!must have noticed me at the last second and froze like a deer in headlights!!! So I slam on the brakes turn the wheel to the left because if she would have moved we would have missed each other and then WHAM!! right into her car. My Focking LUCK!! So the front end damage is quite heavy. I was throw toward the windshield when the airbag smacked the **** out of me and told me to sit down! I have a mild concussion from the airbag, but it saved my life! I saw the smoke from the bags so i jumped out of the car and ran accross the street to not get hit again.

On the positive side, the police officer said the accident was her fault and gave her a ticket. She was driving a ford taurus that was owned by the security company that she works for. Who should i go after? her insurance company or the security company's?

I think the car is a total loss I will have pics up later
