The owner of this white 300ZX Twin Turbo posted a very respectable 13.129 @ 110.56 for his first time on the track. However, given that it was his first time on a track he wasn't exactly sure when to lift. He eventually ran out of space and hit the wall at the end of the run-off area. Fortunately the Z's airbag absorbed the impact. Unfortunately the Bomex front end didn't, as it was destroyed, but the frame and motor are still in good condition which means the Nissan will live to run again.

though it wasn't mentioned, the owner (Kenny) just finished building up his motor with T28 turbos, Stillen intercoolers, APEXi AFC & AVC-R, and a few other little things (about 500 hp at the crank).
Mechanically, the car is sound. It's in the bodyshop now getting a new front end (bumper, hood, fender, center panel, etc). It should be up and running by April 7th for the ISS II. Maybe he'll let me drive it and I'll show him how to drive :P
