Adjusting Sunroof
Hi I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the sunroof. Mine fits really tight against the front opening where the window meet the body but has lots of room in the back corners. If I slide back the shade I can see light and water likes to drip in there. I think it goes into a drain channel or something because it doesn't end up on my seats or the headliner. I was wondering if i could adjust it so the fit is tighter in the back. A ton of road noise comes in this way too. Thanks for any info you can provide. I noticed the TSB. My car is a 99 would this still apply?

Remove the 2 black plastic trim pannels on the sides of the sunroof glass. There are 4 bolts under there. Loosen them and you can move the glass around slightly. There are shims under there that are used to adjust the glass height, make sure you don't lose them.

If what njmaxseltd said doesn't give you enough of an adjustment you can take the entire sunroof out and adjust it. That is a real pain and I wouldn't do it unless you are having serious issues with water/wind noise.

Is there any way to adjust the sunroof height while still inside the car? I have to fix my sunroof (TSB repair kit) this weekend and I'm not looking forward to taking the sunroof in and out of my car a bagillion times.
