Ok guys as you know the mistress was totalled but I had a lot of money in that car. With the way the insurance company handled things and for the amount that it was going to cost to fix my car, I decided to just go ahead and do this!!!!





Same exact car as my old one except this one is 5 spd. I am in the process of stripping the old car now and building this one. I have some extra goodies for this one already. Actually by sunday from the outside of the car alot of people wont be able to tell the difference. The first thing i did when i got how was put on my stillen lip!!! I knew i kept that thing around for a reason!!

This car is 5 spd which I drive too much to keep it that way so I will be taking the 5 spd out!!!! Yeah call me gay, I don't care I bought this car from an org member in Rhode Island on saturday and have already driven it 1500 miles. I do about 3000 miles a month 5spd just wont do!

I will keep everybody posted with the new project!

 

nice, ha look at that you can buy araffio's auto tranny and sell the 5sp tranny quick

I still have my performance tranny that i built for 3500. its coming out of the old car today

 

The rebuild should be fun.

I say you guys should do it...shoot it would be the first of its kind on this board...u guys might wanna swap interiors or your goodies...but thats better than actually have both of you doing tranny swaps...IMO...GO FOR IT!

Hey id be up for it, only problem is taking out stuff ive invested in this car (ypipe, 2.5" exhaust, AE headlights) and also, my back bumper is a little scuffed up, so Id have to swap that too. I was going to goto the nissan dealer in a couple months to replace my slipping tranny (not bad, but i notice slight wear, I have until june 31st) but if your upto this, id do it. We'd both still have Red maximas.

 

oh...sweet deal...u get a new tranny in that thing...swap with Corey...Corey removes NEW Nissan tranny, installs his BUILT tranny...has spare NEW tranny to keep or sell...all other stuff is easy to swap...bumpers are a sinch...hmmm...Corey where are ya?...

 

sounds good to me, you wouldn't even have to swap the bumper because i am removing those too!!!

your taking out my 5spd tranny!!?? i just put a new clutch in there!!! lol, i guess it would be a waste of $3500 on your auto tranny if you didn't swap it.

it is really weird looking at my car in your posts... you have only had it for 5 days, and you are already modding it... lol... make sure you send me pics of the car when you add mods too it... then i'll show my friends and be like.."you see this red max? well that was my car, and this is what maxima's are all about!"

oh, and i found my digi cam!!! it was in my new car all along!!! i do not know how it got there, but i don't really care as long as i have it back! sorry for calling you so late.
