Here's what happens.....
I'll hit WOT through 2 or 3 gears, then let off, and start reducing speed (engine brake). Then I'll notice all the little lights in the dash are on, and the Tach is at 0 rpms. No power, nada.
Then I'll have to turn the key while I'm still coasting.
What the hell is going on here?
It only happens rarely, probably 6 times in a year
Only thing i could think is the engine floods, but its fuel injected! WTF!!!!

Please help, this is really weird shiznit.

 

Dirty throttle body? When was the last time you cleaned it?

 

I had a similar problem with my 92 Max. It would stall sometimes when I let off the gas to make a turn. I replaced the air filter and fuel filter and it went away. I never really figured out what caused it but it did not happen after I did that.

 

How does your CPS wire harness look? A friend of mine would have a problem with the car stalling and it turned out the CPS some how gets grounded. I would check that to make sure. And CEL's?

CPS = Crankshaft position sensor
CEL = Check engine light
