I have not gone WOT from 2nd to 3rd in a while but my 2-3 shift is definitely slower than it use to be. It it very sluggish and I can feel the car stop accelerating while the 2-3 shift happens. Are your shifts different when not under WOT as well? The bad news for me is that I did a full tranny flush as well as cleaning the pan last Friday and there is absolutely NO difference with the shifting. I put in Mobil 1 synthetic BTW and I have an auto with 95k.

Shifting is about the same, or less dramatic during normal acceleration. I dont remember if the car has had a tranny flush since warrantee ran out.

Should you be worried...well YES!

Getting your tranny fluid flushed is a definet plus but perhaps I should pass along some info you might want to know be4 you do it. Just "incase" be prepared to get another tranny. Im dead serious.
Ive had a few people wait 4ever be4 they decide to do a tranny flush and when they decide to finally do it the fluid is horribly discolored compared to what it should be. That darker it gets, obviously the worst it is. Those little black particles are none other then the clutch packs.
When the fluid is discolored to that level and some1 goes in for a tranny flush it basically washes all that little particles away.
Well in a way this may seem like a good thing (for a healthy tranny) but those little particles for clutch packs is whats holding a jacked up tranny together.
Im not sure how healthy your tranny really is, but that all depends on how it was driven and for how long it hasnt had the tranny fluid flushed.

Ive flushed a few cars that were at this point be4, only to find that after the flush the car doesnt move. No drive, no reverse, no nada. We had to get another tranny (or rebuild, whatever) to get it going. This is the risk of getting a tranny flushed if you've waited practically 4ever to do it. Avoiding normal maintenance might save a little money, but in the long run it ends up catching up with the owner & costing them more money.

Just letting you know man, some make it at this point. Some dont. So good luck but ive atleast given you a warning of the worst case scenario & what to expect.
Btw-I flushed mine at 26K, excessive...yes but im not risking nothing
I have 40K on the odo now.
