going 2 the dyno... 17s or factorys???

hey im goign 2 the dyno on the 24. i got my 17s on right now i was just wondering if thier be a diff. in the numbers if i brought the 17s 225/50/17. 2 my factorys 15s i have.. should i get ready for anything/tune??? neav been 2 the dyno before BTW. thanx jeff

I've heard that bigger rims reduce power (which makes sense). I say you should do a run with each and let everbody know what the difference is .

it wont make much of a diffrance unless you messed around with your profile hight alot, rims dont make you loose HP, they are heavy so you still have the same Hp but its like having more weight in the car, witch doesnt matter on a dyno.

Heavier rims will suck out power to the wheels. Requin6 saw a 5-6fwhp/tq difference by simply swapping on his OEM 15" rims in place of his 2K+ 17s.
