Works great

Dynamat is great. Just make sure you clean the surface well and use a hot air gun to heat the adhesive.

Use a roller about an inch wide to press it into the cracks and crevices when you apply it. Heat it and press it. You should be able to see the contours and ridges of the original surface through the Dynamat. That way you get maximum damping.
