I love the snow, too, especially if I'm skiing in it. Otherwise it makes a mess of the Max and the road salt is eating away at the finish.

I hear you on the skiing, it's been a pretty good winter for that... but the roads.. yuck! for example... i know two people that were in accidents this morning.. and one flipped their truck!! cringe.. cringe.. the thing that gets me is, where i work in PA they don't believe in salt.. and the cinders they put on the road are as big as boulders... bad news!! I'm afraid to look at my hood...

What the hell are cinders? Do you mean ashes or cinderblock chips or what?

Greg
it's what the "countryfolk" (take into consideration that i work in the middle of nowhere) call the gravel, or stones, or whatnot that the ****'n trucks put down on the roads to "increase" traction (yeah right)...
sorry for the confusion...

It could be worse. Down here in Florida, 85 degree temps. (hell they were 85 in January) have a tendency to cook the paint.

Snow is good for skiing, but sucks for driving.

I'm sick of the snow by now, and besides I only got out 3 times to ski this year.
I want the summer to come, so I can drive with my windows down, my sunroof open, and stare at all the beautiful women.

Yes, the babes will be coming out soon-in skimpy little outfits to show off their bods. If you've got it, flaunt it. I love summer.

All this snow is cutting into the precious little time that I have to go through 10/32s of my RE92s!

We are at the tail end of a 40 cm (15 in) dump.

Hey, that's my 'hood! (Actually in Audubon, but it's close enough to KOP.) Anyway, I'm ready for the spring; got in my share of snowboarding trips and now I'm just looking to pick up gear for next year at closeout prices

Blue and Camelback are the best local places, but usually the best is to take a vermont trip.

Ditto on the vote for Blue, though I also tend to go to Jck Frost a lot. Elk is nice if you don't mind the extra haul. And of course Vermont beats them all hands down. Only made it up to Stowe once this season, though.

Never been to Elk, didn't feel like making the drive. Jck frost is nice too.

Stowe is good, my friends and I have gone to sugarbush a few year in a row and tried stowe while we were up there. It was much better than sugarbush. You should also try Jay Peak, that was the best of the three. We wanted to go to Mad River Glen, but there wasn't enough natural snow the years we went up.
