for those that decide to read this thread, im wondering if anyone can help me out. my clutch, which has been adjusted so that it does not have to travel as far as it used to, likes to... move the engagement point when i drive. it seems to switch after about every 100 or 200 times i press the clutch. the first 100-200 times i press it, it is really short, and really nice/easy to drive. then the clutch slowly moves the engagement point farther back (have to depress farther which makes me ride the clutch, AHH) and the initial resistance of the clutch, when pressed, is greater..... anyone know what this could be....? would bleeding the clutch help? maybe there is some air in there that is moving around?

ps. the clutch is not engaged when it is fully depressed... fyi.

yea, the clutch is the stock clutch

 

I am not sure what problem might be, just getting information to make it clear for those who could advise. If clutch engages very early, it might be something internal, that the problem I have. My fork (lever the push rod of slave cylinder pushes) is very loose now and clutch inoperative at all.

 

Have you checked the clutch fluid level? Did you observe and leaks under the car?

 

a hah! a response, thank you... umm..... i didnt notice any leaks... my garage does not appear to have any unsual marks on it.... where is the fluid for the clutch located? thats what my friend thought the problem was also....

 

there is a shaft that can be adjusted i bet the screw on one side is loose and the shaft rotates slowly and moves in different directions check and make sure everything is tight there.

Reservoir is right behind brake fluid reservoir on top of clutch master cylinder.

 

its like a big bolt that has 2 nuts on it that hold a piece on it in one place check it out

yea but if the bolt is not bolted up on both sides, the clutch will grab at different heights
