560,000 plus miles

Well I'm at 230k miles. Roughly 2/3 of 560k. I am getting a replacement tranny. Other than that All original.

Time to brush up on your math skills. In another 50K miles you'll be half way there. Another 143K or so and you'll be 2/3 there.

wow great job. I had an 89 max a few years back. i had about 130k on it, then i sold it for $500 to my fathers friend. He still has it and its still runnin to this day. I loved that car... so after having a turbo civic, I came crawling back to a VQ!

my parents had a '79 Volvo wagon (I think it was a 240 or its predecessor)......when they got rid of it in the early-90s it had close to 700,000 miles.

My beater is an 88 Volvo 240, with 270,000 on the ticker and going... and she runs like new too.

That is impressive. I remember your post from a few years ago and it was around 400k I think. My question is where do you commute to that would have you drive so many miles? That is still amazing that the car has held up. Nice job!
