My quest to rice out my car.
Should I get "Red" Sparco seats? or "Black" Sparco seats? Keep in mind, I have a pretty much stock black leather interior. I'm sick of sliding around in my leather seats and some nice racing seats would do the trick.
Man, red just screams a little too much for me. Maybe black with some red accents. Maxima seats do suck da ***** though.
I was looking for some manual adjust G20T seats or G35 seats for a reasonal price. SER seats fit/look good too.
I think you are on another budget level than I though. Me being cheap. You spending the $

Given the choice, definitely black.
I'd also consider what Jeff suggested with maybe some 350Z or G35 seats. They'd look better than stock, keep you in the seat better than stock, but still look relatively stock.

I'm with William on this one. I like the black torino seats but the red would be a little too much. You don't want to rice out the car with red, it's soo pretty already.
i would never trade leather for cloth....
don't buy cheap seats they wear out and the metal piping digs into your back.
if you want to be noticed get a bright color.
if you want it to look good and flow with the rest of your car get black.

Black, and I hope you are working with OEM brackets or have a good fabrication shop, because otherwise you would need to buy the brackets from Corbeau and thats another $200.
Anyways go black, red would be fine if you had the rear seats reupholstered in matching material but otherwise go black.

I would have to purchase slider, base and adaptor. Slider and adaptor would come from Sparco but the base would be fabricated by Wedge metal works out in cali. They are the company that makes Corbeau Maxima specific brackets. Wedge metal works can pretty much fit any racing seats into Maxima.

Yup.. the brackets are about $75 each IIRC.. they're not too bad. of course there's really not that much there on them (about $6 in metal), but it's the engineering and labor that you're paying for.
