Quality products do make a difference

So I decided to finally do maintenance that I have been putting off forever. First I did an oil change after being almost 2k overdue, I decided to use the redline synthetic and all I am going to say is I am dumb for not using it in the past. My 2k2 is still new to me but the motor and idling wasn't where it was when it was new, and it seems with the redline its just sooo much smoother. I also threw in a k and n drop in filter instead of my old five dollar paper one and that did wonders as well, and I cleaned my throttle body out too. Finally I had my rotors turned with new pads- ceramic and no more vibration at all, it seems my car is like new again. Still have some stuff to do in upcoming week, new struts etc but for now I am

basic maintance adds up and makes driving experience better. btw what kind of oil filter did you use?

yeah i have to do the same. I hate when i put off maintenance for mods. But it's a vice i have.

Wanted to use the k and n oil filter but the place I went with redline didnt have it so I ended up using fram toughguard...I hear its pretty good and was basically the best they had. Car still feels amazingly better with just these things...

in my experience, fram sucks, oem seems to be the best for MY CAR. i too put off maintenence for mods

I like the oem too. What amazes me is how small it is for the 5th gen.
What's the part # for the K&N drop in?
