I just wish they'd cut out with the junky, impractical mods. Like yesterday, they attached a bubble maker to simulate an bubble exhaust. WTF? Or in another car, they put in an aquarium in the back seat! Those fish are toast after an hour in the summer heat! And the xzbit guy or whatever he goes by likes to give the ladies some $100-400 gifts (he gives a "special" personalized gift at the end of every show) ie. digital camera, expensive shoes, but dogs the guys--this one guy gets a $4.99 sketch pad in case he decides to draw in the car. WTF?

i wonder if the engines can outlast the paintjob? Do they do anything to the engine? The cars they got has like 300k miles on em. no point to bling out the car if it's not going to last

I would just part out the car and make some serious dough. Fo'shizzle!

Man, I wish I had a link of this 1st gen wagon that as pimpified! The guy had a BETA tape player bolted to the dash along with a 6x9, had leopard skin rear seat, a candy machine in the back seat, a sub box in the back, and another sub attached to one of the rear windows. This car was like brown sitting on 18's or 19's....lol funniest thing ever!

exactly. i dont think hes a t.v person because you have to be in his head to understand some of the things he says. but man i tell you
this guys personal cars are ridiculous and when he says he'll pimp your car out big time with big things he means it. he personally likes the maxima so we should try and show support so maybe he can pimp one of our rides for free.

Does flex do all the bodywork and custom stereo installs? I always thought that he just dropped it off to other shops that do it.

It doesn't have to be a show. There are tons of people that do their own work on their own car. I'm not busting his bubble, but i haven't seen flex get down and dirty and work on any cars.

81-84's were the 1st gens, which is the pic of the wagon you saw at that cardomain site. 85-88's were the 2nd gen maximas. Better looking wagons than the first gens. I just hope they don't screw the thing up too much. There were two looks of the 2nd gen. 85-86 which is like Sarin's maxima (maxima86se) And then there is the 87-88 design, like mine. See webpage below.

it would be hot if they did sum performance stuff to these cars. they dont even add intakes...and they always leave orange indicators on everything. how about taking that 2nd gen and doing sum crazy stuff that will be easier than doing it to a newer gen...like put a big butt JDM motor in it with turbo, straight pipe to the back. then put a big ol greddy on it. then we would have a show.

p.s. - at the end they can have it race that stupid honda wit the lambo doors..u know the one that the girl drove her grandmother in

That's why he uses students and proshops to do his paint work.

This is a show on MTV for the "average" viewer and the masses. They are going to spend all the money on the WOW factor, the "reveal". Most people wouldn't appreciate anything they can't SEE and go WOW, "big shiny wheels", "a TV in the ceiling", "WOW, those fancy doors that go up".

Oh, and the civic thing, think about it, they had to throw an easy one to them. All the aftermaket bolt on, snap in, things available. Like the purple interior, with the matching purple airbag module.
