what is the size of the lug nuts for the wheel lugs??? The shop that sold my my new alloys gave me 20 lug nuts. they are 12 millimetres, and they dont seem to be fitting too well. the first one i tried putting on fit snuggly but on winding it off, it seemed to be stripping threads..help!

that's very weird

my lug nuts are 21mm for a fact. you should get a torque wrench too and apply about 90 ft-lbs and recheck them a couple days later if rims are alloy.

OK??

so are they 12mm's or 21 mm's.
It looks like I might have stripped either one lug or one lug nut. In the event that its the lug..are they easy to replace, or is it a very time consuming thing> In the meantime, is it OK to do about 100 miles on the car with only 4 lugs tightened down properly?
