i was driving with both of these guys for about 5 hours total drive time to and from the jordan lake meet. let me tell you, neither sounds like rice, at all. from what i could tell, blu's was a little quieter at wot, but i thought that i heard the heat shield rattle a couple of times, maybe not. but it definatly sounded great. srden20's exhaust i heard a little more since i was behind of him during most of the caravan. it sounded good too. not rice. I really couldn't hear too much b/c my exhaust is a little loud also. all i know is that we all traded places quite a few times at wot and they all had a very pleasing sound.
p.s. blu and sr20den, what did you guys think about the sound of my cattman setup?

one of the deepest sounding exhausts I've heard from the 3.0l. Sounded good to me and I liked the muffler design.

cool. I'll let you hear it at the next meet, hopefully. but in all seriousness, i really am strapped for cash and will be for a while since i'm starting back school in the fall... but maybe i'll just use credit... modding is aparantly a sickness that never ends, haha

Yep. Great E.T.s and broken trannys.

I have already worn out the third gear syncro in this latest trans. It probably has 5000 miles on it total. But thats ok because I think I broke my new clutch disc in the same way that I broke the old one. That's fine because Id rather have more than one thing to fix when I remove the tranny again.

BTW, I was gonna ask, how difficult is the install of the headers? Any special things you have to do to get them in?

How is that supposed to help? I haven't broken anything inside the trans.

I don't know, thought it makes the tranny stronger.

Blu and SR20, I'd give my left nut for my car to sound like either of those. The third video was a little too loud for my taste.

Not ricey at all IMO and I can't believe a Maxima can sound that MEEEEEEAN~!!!!

woof! woof!

I like SR20DEN's exhaust better, sounds like a modified 911 in some respects

Awesome clips, definetly sound nice!

Maybe I missed your post about this previously, but is your HKS rear section suppose to shake that much when you rev? At 1st I thought, maybe the headers added that much power to cause that, but then I figured you put it on real quick just to test the sound?

the HKS rear is pretty heavy, so paired with gummy bear hangers you get quite a bit of movement under load.

The HKS is no heaveir than the stock muffler.

Surely at least one of you can figure this out (the shaking).

I dunno..........I just couldn't see how that much water could cause the muffler to shake? that's almost like he washed his car and sprayed the hose into his muffler?

It didn't shake untill I bounced the engine off the rev limiter. It really has nothing to do with weight or water.
