I have a 96 Maxima Gle edition with 90,000 miles on it!
In the coming weeks I'll be changing out the struts.
Do you think I should change the springs and strut mounts all at one time or just do the struts? Also what is a
good strut brand to go with?

 

whatever struts you get, tokicos, konis, or kyb's, you will probably need new boots. and replace that plastic type bushing that sits on top of the upper insulator cap, if you get new springs, you will probably need lower spring insulators. the rear shocks come with the replacement stuff.
