A few night pics

Well I've made up my mind to keep the Maxima. I paid my unreal insurance bill earlier today and figured if I'm paying so much for this thing why not take a few pictures. I know random pictures are kinda looked down apon here on the org, but I've been depressed over the past week or so about possibly losing this car I put so much hard work into. Anyhow here are a few shots I took on my way home from work last night.

The pics probably would have looked a whole lot better if my car had been washed but its hard when it rains twice a day here on the east coast.

Oh and here is my car with my girlfriends civic.

What type of camera are you using? I heard that most digital cameras are 400 speed in general and that's one of the reasons why alot of digital camera aren't so great at taking low light pics like mine. Those are awesome pics.

Very nice pics. Car is looking amazing. Why were you thinking of getting rid of your car? I didn't know you were even thinking about getting rid of the max.

wow...i've seen the other pics you posted of your car a while ago back and i thought those were hot...these are HOTTTT...i love the moonlight and the whole effect. very very nice...would you mind sending me a pic for my wallpaper? due to the lack of good modded max wallpapers i've resorted to Evos and STis for my wallpaper but this would definitely be better....glad to hear you're keeping your car btw. good luck with your insurance

Great pics - what kind of camera is that? When I bought my Canon A70 3.2MP, I didn't factor in taking complex shots of my car (didn't have it back then), so I got the best "user-friendly" overall camera in its class. Maybe I need to upgrade now...

Thanks again for the complements guys. I took the pictures with a Sony CyberShot digi cam...its a 3.2 megapix. I've had it for 3 years now and its still turning out good pictures. The trick to these was to leave the shutter open for at least 2~3 seconds. That way more light will come in...thats also how you can see a car driving by in the 4th picture while my car stays still. Oh and a tripod is key...without it these pics would be 100% junk. The location was also a factor, I parked right under a street lamp so most of the car would have light right on it. Other than that the settings on the camera were fairly standard, the color balance was set a little more on the red side for the third shot...and the ISO was set to 400.
