Tie Rod

Hey just wondering if anyone has replaced their tie rod and if so, how much did it cost and how did it break? The reason I ask is because I think I might have bent the tie rod when I hit the curb doing a U turn Anyway any input would be great, thanks.

www.internetautomart.com will probably have the best price. I've replaced them on other cars but haven't on my maxima yet. I was thinking about it not to long ago to try and tighten things up

oh, one tip. Mark or count the threads so you can put the new one on in roughly the same area

I just finished an engine swap, and after about 2 hours of trying to get them off, i said "no"
Parts were about 30 bucks for 2.
I got them installed at a local alignment place for $120. Alignment included. so about $80 bucks.
Good luck, i have heard that they are not hard to do. Mine were with 186k. Maybe you will find it easer.
