I've installed Jeff's modded VB into the thing. The little plunger thing is so tight and slightly crooked. It won't shift out of park because it won't line up correctly. Did anybody have any problems with the VB being tight when they tried to put it back in?

I'm trying to get in contact with him presently. Hopefully he'll give me some tips.

 

The plunger thingie shouldn't be tight nor bent at all. I remember it was able to slide easily when I put in my VB which was about 4 yrs ago. Only suggestion I have is for you to replace that part.

 

thanks Blackcat. I just had to rotate the plunger 180 degrees. I guess that's why I had to fight the thing to get all the bolts to line up last night.

 

Now that you mentioned about rotating the plunger, I think I did the same boo-boo too and I couldn't shift!
