My A/C blower has been cutting out and it seems to be a loose connection somewhere. If I open and slam the hood down, the blower comes on. Any suggestions? I have already disassembled the glove box and checked that wiring harness, but no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

have you checked fuses/relays?

 

I did check those and I even removed and reinstalled the resistor pack. I am wondering if the resistor pack needs to be replaced and that would result in the blower operating intermittently. Thanks for the follow-up.

 

Sounds like the blower motor could be on it's last legs too. Have you heard any strange noises? I would definately check connections. Should also take a voltmeter and test the motor as well.
