My floor mats in my 2000 SE look very bad now after this winter.. All that salt and dirt makes them look pretty bad.
I tried vacuuming them, but it doesn't help.

I was thinking if there is anything available that I can use to wash them?

Thanks.

Prestone works good

Use a carpet cleaner in a spray can. I use prestone in a red can and it comes with a brush. works real good and is about $5 a can.

I have also taken my mats from previous cars to a laundromat that has large washers. This works great, although my wife claims is it dramatically shortens the life of the mats.

I switched to rubber mats for the winter, which saved the carpeted areas, but I still have salt and mud on the carpeted areas surrounding the mats...

Take some carpet cleaner and spray that on,scrub them down,2 or 3 times if real bad dirty, then wash all the soap out with a water hose, then hang them up iin the sun to let them dry...Does real good when you are about to wash your car(do this first thing) P.S. It might take all day for them to dry....

I got my Stillen RSB from GR-Racing...

Ask (got-rice) he runs GR-Racing, it is the name of a person on this forum.
Here is his email: GR_Racing@yahoo.com

I paid about $225 for the Stillen RSB.

Good luck.

rubber mats!!

Go for the ruber mats in the winter guys, seriosuly. it is SO much easier. Most car washes have a thing to hold your mats, so you just spray them down. I should get some black cloth ones for the sumer though, ruber looks kinda silly in the summer.
