Joy of Owning a Used Car/What's Under Your Hood Lining?
I removed the hood lining on my Max last weekend. I bought the car used in February.
The hood lining is fairly tight against the hood on a 4th gen, so I was surprised to find a few leaves and twigs between the hood and the lining when I started removing it.
I kept pulling out the little clips one by one, and as I got toward the back of the lining in the middle, there were THREE FRENCH FRIES in there! They disintegrated when I picked them up, but they were definitely potato matter. How the &#$&! did they get under the hood lining? I can understand leaves from the road being sucked in the grill and getting lodged under there, but french fries way in the back?
However it happened, I was laffing my yass off. My best guess is some kids stuffed them in the grill at some point, and then the next time the car was driven at high speed, the wind forced three fries back between the lining and the hood.
LOL.

Wheres the double cheese burger? Under the intake manifold? Let me guess the soda is behind the fog light.... Hahah.... too funny. Its amaizing what a car goes through, huh? I wonder whats under your trunk liner.
Ya, well I also found sunflower seeds underneath the shifter console, but that's a lot more understandable.
LMAO, yeah I already removed the Coke that was behind the driver's side foglight. Needless to say, it had lost all its fizz.
