Cruise control

A while ago I started using my cruise control a lot. I use it on highways, back roads, pretty much anywhere I can drive over 30 mph. Is using it so much bad for my engine or anything?

All the cruise does is hold the acclerator cable for you. Instead of you having to hold your foot at a certain point on the gas pedal, the cruise control holds the throttle cable up by the throttle body. It is designed to do this and can be used as much as needed.

Except that you shouldn't use it on hills since you can feel it struggling. It's not as adaptive as teh driver and you can tell when it overgases it when the speed begins to drop...
