exhaust leak?

Yesterday my sister took the car to a funeral and im guessing the road in there was bumpy. Now when i turn the car on there is a noise coming out of the exhaust. It kinda sounds like an aftermarket exhaust now with a little hmmmm upon acceleration. Do you think there is a leak somewhere.

Its a stock exhaust system on a 01 AE.

Could be that she banged something loose, and now its vibrating with the engine causing your noise .

Okie well i look under and saw that the pipe is broke at the axle (where the flange is). So should i have the whole pipe replaced all the way back or no. And what muffler should i put on there to be just like stock.

I think that you should just get the frankencar exhaust. It is supposedly very quite when compared to other aftermarket exhaust. It is a catback exhaust so you will get an increase in power and it will never rust because it is stainless steal. or you can just the muffler for like 235 dollars. If you dont want any aftermarket just bring it to a muffler shop and they should replace the broken section for about 50-100 dollars.
